Whether I’m working on my blog, catching up on messages, or just enjoying a slow morning, finding a good café is always a must. Honolulu has so many cute and cozy spots—perfect for remote work, journaling, or simply chilling with a good cup of coffee. Here are some of my favorite cafes in town that offer great vibes, tasty drinks, and sometimes even ocean views!
1. Arvo Café (Kakaʻako)
Vibe: Trendy, minimalist, Instagram-worthy
Why I love it: This is my go-to when I want a pretty place to chill or get creative. The design is super cute, and the outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny day.
What to try: Iced Aussie Latte + Avocado Toast
Wi-Fi: No free Wi-Fi (so better for relaxing or offline journaling)

2. Island Brew Coffeehouse (Hawaii Kai or Ala Moana)
Vibe: Oceanfront chill, great for laptop work
Why I love it: The Hawaii Kai location has an amazing view of the water—perfect for remote work days. The Ala Moana spot is cozy and convenient.
What to try: Cold brew with coconut milk
Wi-Fi: Yes, reliable Wi-Fi

3. Morning Glass Coffee (Manoa)
Vibe: Quiet, hidden gem in the valley
Why I love it: Tucked away in Manoa, it feels like a little escape. Great food, friendly staff, and peaceful surroundings.
What to try: Chai latte + breakfast sandwich
Wi-Fi: No Wi-Fi (good for unplugged mornings)

4. Kona Coffee Purveyors (Waikiki – inside International Market Place)
Vibe: Upscale but cozy
Why I love it: Their pastries are amazing, and the coffee is top-notch. It’s a little busier because of the location, but still a great place to relax.
What to try: Kona Latte + croissant
Wi-Fi: No public Wi-Fi

Bonus Tip: What I Bring to a Café Work Session
Laptop + charger Noise-canceling headphones Reusable water bottle Notebook or planner My favorite lip balm & hand cream (AC can be drying!)
