Looking for a short escape filled with charm, food, and wine? This 1-night, 2-day Napa Valley trip was the perfect blend of indulgence and relaxation.
🍷 Day 1: Classic Napa Experiences
We kicked off our trip with a scenic drive into the heart of Napa Valley and headed straight to Bistro Jeanty in Yountville. Their French country-style dishes were just what we needed to start our adventure. The tomato soup in puff pastry? Perfection.

After lunch, we visited Domaine Chandon for a sparkling wine tasting. Surrounded by vineyards and open air, it was the perfect place to sip some bubbles and relax into the pace of wine country.

In the late afternoon, we made our way to Castello di Amorosa, a Tuscan-style castle winery in Calistoga. The castle itself is beautiful — and the wine tastings in the underground cellar made it feel like we were somewhere in Europe.

We stayed overnight in Calistoga, where the small-town charm and quiet surroundings set the mood for a peaceful evening.
💆♀️ Day 2: Spa Time & St. Helena Treats
The next morning, we had a relaxing mud bath experience at our Calistoga hotel. The warm mineral-rich mud and geothermal water soak were so rejuvenating — a must-do in this area.

Feeling refreshed, we drove down to St. Helena for lunch and wine tasting at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Everything was locally sourced, and the garden-to-table freshness was amazing.

To finish the trip, we stopped at Hog Island Oyster Co. for some fresh oysters and a casual bite before heading back to San Francisco. Sitting outside with oysters and a glass of white wine was the perfect way to end the getaway.

🌿 Final Thoughts
Napa Valley is always a good idea — but this quick overnight trip proved that even a short visit can feel luxurious and memorable. From castles and bubbles to mud baths and oysters, this 2-day escape was the perfect reset.
Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a bestie weekend, I can’t recommend this itinerary enough.
